While surfing around looking at Kaki King live gigs, I bumped into Jeff Schmidt playing one of Kaki's songs... but on the bass!

I missed out on the early bird tickets for Electric Picnic, but I'm now determined to go! As soon as the regular tickets come out the credit card will be taking a hit.

There's still no word of who will play in the lineup,
and the new 2008 site looks like it is under construction,
but hopefully there'll be some news released soon.



I'm guessing My Bloody Valentine will be there, whoever the hell they are? They seem to be popping up on loads of festivals around the place...
...some reformed band of something. Never heard of them anyway.
Let's hope they'll have a good mix of music again this year,
would love to see some good dance acts aswell as the usual rocky-stuff.

Haven't really been keeping up with new bands over the last year or 2 (mortal error I know...), but would like to see Franz, Muse, KT Tunstall, Chilli Peppers, Metallica (me thinks they are touring at the moment), Gorillaz (do they even do festivals?), and a long shot as they could probably fill the festival on their own... U2
R.E.M. seem to be headlining a few festivals and have a new album out, so maybe they'll head up EP?



Would love to see some alternative stuff aswell like Young Blood Brass Band or Erykah Badu, but I just can't see them making the Picnic.
Also, is Amy Winehouse back on her feet and gigging again? She ROCKS!
